James A. Goodhue
JAMES A. GOODHUE, a partner, joined the firm in 1988. His practice is concentrated in civil litigation, including personal injury, estate planning and probate administration, business law, municipal law, and real estate law, both residential and commercial, including purchase and sale, leasing, landlord-tenant and zoning matters. Mr. Goodhue has extensive trial and appellate experience in both state and federal court.
He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1985, the U. S. District Court (Massachusetts) in 1986, and the U. S. Court of Appeals (First Circuit) in 2001. He is rated AV (highest rating) by Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association.
Mr. Goodhue was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and currently resides in Wellesley with his wife and two daughters. He is a graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School, and received a B.A. in Government from St. Lawrence University in 1982. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1985. His hobbies and interests include sailing, skiing, tennis and woodworking.
